Question Question about Heat

This has just started happening and I guess it has something to do with the heat. When I decide to go on a little cruise I can ride for about 20 minutes and then the cart starts shuttering. I will let it cool for a couple of minutes and then it will run for another couple of minutes. From what I have learned so far from here it sounds like my controller is overheating. Does this mean I should plan on getting a new one or should just let it sit on hot, hot days? I think I already know the answer but I just want to make sure before spending the money since they are not cheap. 95 Medalist all stock except for larger tires, 5" lift and 1 guage wires. Thanks for all the help While I am asking I plan to get a HD FnR switch and Bandit Motor in the future so what would you all suggest as har as controllers? Not sure what I could get away with without spending a large amount, I was planning on a 400 amp but would like to go smaller If I could??

do your batteries have a full charge? heat will certainly affect them. check out carts unlimited site and look at what kits he has to offer. with a larger controller you will regain some the torque that was lost with the larger tires.

Yes they have a full charge. It has worked fine so far, it has just started doing this.
