1994 EZ GO medalist has power will not run

I have a 1994 EZ GO medalist. The other day I drove it down my country road and it quit on me. The batteries have power but when you mash the pedal the cart does nothing, no noise no nothing. If I turn it to reverse the buzzer buzzes and the headlights work but the motor will not run....help

put your head down next to the floormat, with key off slowly press pedal and listen for a faint microswitch click...let me know if you hear this or not...

I drove the cart probably a couple of miles on my county road so I thought I might have overheated the motor but there was no smell it just quit running

Okay, so the micro switch under the floor is clicking, is the big solenoid under the black cover beneath the passenger seat clicking when you try to go?
