Dang that was quick LOL 275 amp is what I was thinking. Only because I have seen the aftermarket ones and they have print all over them...
How much should I look to spend on a 36/48 volt controller with 4-5 hundred amps??? anyone here know cheapest good quality available???

I am replacing all the wires to 4 gauge and soldering the copper connentions
The seat is getting re covered, so wont get to feel the increase in a few days.
I had it out for a spin around the pasture today and had a problem. It acted like the batteries fell off and were left behind... just kinda died??? had 37.4 volts at batteries? after I turned the key off walked around and looked under seat, I would turn key back on and off she would go like nothing was wrong???
I couldn't find any loose wires, only one slightly dirty/corroded connection on the batteries??? Any thoughts???

No, it's good. Well sought after to by many who want to upgrade motors. Mine is the same thing in the photo below. It is a pretty rugged system.

I am going to upgrade a little at a time... Going to start with 48 volt soliniod, and two more 6 volt batteries. then will drop big change for controller... and then maybe motor also... I was riding the thing today and was wishing I had gotten the gas powered... At least I know the basics of that as I have the race bikes and an old 2 stroke Honda Odyssey (dune buggy).
I could see the drop in power after only a 15 minutes. It would climb the backside of a tank on the first trip around the 200 acres, but second go around it wouldn't go up the short incline??? More Battery or more controller???

If thats a stock controller you will burn it up at 48 volts. You need a controller rated for 48v, very voltage sensitive
By the way, your cart looks real clean "under the hood".

Thanks for the "clean comment" Previous owner gets the credit for that, he never took it off road...

Now I didn't know that??? Parts Guy at NAPA in my small town has a friend that upgraded his, stated he just threw a 12 volt Battery in the back and replaced the solenoid and was happy with the results??? He is stopping by to look and make sure though!!!
Thanks for the help...
