Trailering an EZGO behind motorhome.
I am going to start trailering my new RXV behind my motorhome and was wondering if there is a cover thats approved for trailering? I dont want to have to was it everytime I arrive at camp before using it. I figure the cheap covers would just shred to pieces after an hour of driving.
Any help is appreciated. |

Re: Trailering an EZGO behind motorhome.
id go with a standard cover. ($50)
Your motorhome is quite tall and should block most of the air from taking the cover off the cart. |

I didnt know if a regular cover may tear at the seams due to the buffeting of the wind. Granted the wind behind the unit is less than out in the open but you do still get a strong wind.

I wash my cart before I leave and unless I get in a bad storm on the way I don't have to wash it when I get there. I do have to wash it a couple times while I am there because of all the sand from trail riding.

Do you tow with a large motorhome? The motorhome basicly creates a large vacuum that circulates dust and dirt, if I dont cover my bikes they will also have to be cleaned prior to using them.

very true. i suppose it depends how far you will be traveling. id consider making one yourself. pretty much a simple box but use some heavy duty fabric and triple stitch the seams and hems

Re: Trailering an EZGO behind motorhome.
Thats the info I was l was hoping for. We recently graded from a 5th wheel to a 35' forest river with a Ford v10 and are looking forwatd to using it. I was very dissapointed to find out there wasnt many golf cart friendly campgrounds. Oh well I may have just bought the kids a toy to use around the house. Thanks for the replies.
