Default Speed sensor

I noticed the past couple times I drove my 04 txt pds it came to a complete stop. Absolutely nothing. I put it in rev and its all gun ho. But when I put it back in GDR nothing. Turn key on and off couple times and starts to move very slow. Turn it off let set for a bit then come back. And all of the sudden boom full blast. I've been researching on this forum and I think I've narrowed it down to whati think is a speed sensor. Not sure where to look or what to look for. And when I do find it how can I test it. It does it very intermittently so its been hard to trace. Thx guys

If this is happening after driving a while or under a load (hills or soft ground), I would say you controller is starting to go bad. The slow speed sounds like it is overheating a going into limp mode. The time it takes you to put in rev/fwd & turn the key off/on may give the controller just enough time to cool down and then it will run perfectly again.

I had a similar problem. He replaced the speed sensor and now it is back to full throttle!

Is there a way to test to see which one it may be. Speed sensor or controller?

Default Speed sensor?

I accidentally posted this under club car. Not sure if it matters.

I noticed the past couple times I drove my 36v 2004 txt pds it came to a complete stop. Absolutely nothing. I put it in rev and its all gun ho. But when I put it back in Forwards nothing. No lift. Thx for moving thread for me. Big thumb little phone. If it is the controller can I upgrade it for more per or torque, swap it out for factory replacement or can this one be fixed. Any way to trouble shoot it before replacing it? If I do replace anyone know about how much a new one is. Thx for you alls help. Yes I'm southern. Lol
