Ezgo back up siren
Hey Everyone,
I just found out that my old golfcart has a backup siren. It hasent worked in a while because we had to disconnect it due to electical problems. My problem now is that i dont know how to hook it back up. Its a 48v siren, and i have a 36v cart.  Can anyone help? Thanks Last edited by JakeMusser; 08-23-2012 at 02:21 PM.. Reason: Wrong Voltage |

I think you meant 36v cart? anyway hook it to the main positive and main neg on your battery pack...the siren should still work on 36v just not as loud

But wouldent that just be a constant circuit? I need it to only sound when i engage into reverse.

My falt i should of gave you more info. I have a 1985 electric ezgo. Every thing on it i have replacd and updated but the siren. It still looks good and looks like it would work.
