type of cable from charger receptacle to controller?
Just wandering if these cables are normal electrical cable? looks like # 10 or 8 gauge? I am going to clean out my charger receptacle and I have a lot of extra 6, 8 and 10 gauge electric cable from building projects. Was thinking I would install a larger size cable? any input?

Those two wires only carry about 20A and aren't very long, so 10Ga would more than suffice.
Should be high strand count for flexibility and the insulation should be acid resistant, but other than that, anything that doesn't clash too badly with the paint scheme will work.  |
