Default controller replacement 96 EZGo

I am replacing a stock curtis controller that has M- B- B+ A2 terminals
The replacement controller does not have an A2 terminal. Will this work?
If so what do I do with the cable that attached to the A2 terminal?
This is a series cart.

Welcome to BGW

The A2 is not needed. The 2 cables that attached to the A2 connection, bolt them together and tape them up real good. Thats all you need to do. Everything else will hook up the same.

Second option. You can make a single cable to take the place of the 2 cables you bolt together. One runs from the motor to A2 on the controller and the other runs from the F/R switch to the A2 on the controller....you could run straight from the motor to the F/R switch.
