Default Am I missing a fuse box cover?

2000 PDS Lights went out, checked the fuses and there is a loose connection.. there is no cover and a lot of dirt and mud. Is there supposed to be a cover?

Can I spray cleaner and wire brush the fuse box? DO I just switch to TOW or/and disconnect batteries?

thanks

There is no cover on the fuse assy, put in tow, disconnect main positive and the middle rear battery should have a green wire going to posive also that you should disconnect. I usually just use a blower to blow all the dirt and mud away so as not to damage anything...

You don't have a leaf blower or a shop vac? How about hit it with a toothbrush.

I ended up putting in tow- and followed camaroluvz28 disconnecting those cables. Then pulled off the connectors and the fuses..cleaned all those parts, then (I hope this is ok) sprayed brake fluid and srubbed with little metal brush. One fitting on the fuse box was loose so I moved that fuse to another spot. It looks super shiny and clean and everything seems to be working fine.
