Default Solenoid Diode Q's

I have a 2001.5 ezgo PDS. I just upgraded to a DCX400 controller 2g wires and a WR587 solenoid. The stock solenoid did not have a diode on it, as per altrax I installed the correct diode. The silver band is installed to positve. There are two wires for solinoid activation, one is yellow one is blue. My Q's is altrax wire diagram shows blue as positive, but with my multi meter yellow seams to be positive? I just want to make sure I have it installed correctly. Will any damage occur if it is installled in reverse?

Thanks Jason.

Ughhhh....

I remember going through this one myself... what a pain in the ***. Without looking at my cart I can't tell you - I haven't burned anything up yet so hopefully I have it right.

I just called altrax, and they said it was the yellow wire that is positive.
That was amazing customer support, they answered on the first ring!
