Ezgo charger question
I am new to BGW and I have been reading a lot about battery maint and chargers. Currently I have a 1987 36v ezgo cart and I was wondering if my charger had any type of trickle charge feature or slow charge function on it. I do not think that it does, simply because of how old it is, but I know the experts on this site can probably tell me for sure.
My charger is an ezgo Textron charger model number 19012. The charger just has a timer knob on the front of it along with a voltage guage. The reason why I am wondering is because when my charger gets to the last hour of the timer cycle it seems to take a lot longer to finish. |

Re: Ezgo charger question
It has a finish cycle at the end which is about 3 amps just to level or balance the cells. It's best to place the timer on 12hrs and let the charger shut off when it is done.

Re: Ezgo charger question
Thanks for all the help. So should I just set it up to charge for 12 hours no matter how much / little I used it for the day?
