Question Controller question

Just installed a new Alltrax 400amp controller and after riding for about 30 minutes it goes into limp mode and the led on the controller turns a solid yellow. Batteries are good and fully charged. Any ideas? Thanks in advance!

Which drive system do you have?

What other mods do you have ?
What size tires?
What kind of terrain?

Flat ground
5" lift, 22 inch tires, 2g wires, heavy duty F&R switch
95 Medalist series
I ordered this kit from you Scotty, it's the one with the heavy duty selenoid.

When I press the pedal it blinks 4 times (ITS) and then turns solid yellow when full throttle is applied.
The problem I have is after riding it for a while it will go into limp mode. I replaced all of these items because when it was doing this before I was told that the stock controller was overheating?

Please email with your name and the controller pkg & order # so I can look at the programming and the specs on your cart I collected at the time of your order. Email =

Questionnaire sent

P.S.
The controller light does turn a orangey yellow color when the peddle is all the way down. This indicates that the controller is seeing the full throttle signal. The light should be green up until the peddle is floored or close to it.

Check your solenoid for excessive heat. I had the 200a HD solenoid, and switched to the 400a one to solve this problem.

I carried it to a guy that works on carts and he mentioned that I may need to check the cart batteries under a load. I checked them just sitting and everything looked normal, he is supposed to be checking it today to see if one of the batteries are bad.
