Mine works really good for the $250 price tag. Don't hold me to it, but I think I remember reading on thier site that your motor has to be working when sent in for that price.

Bandit is an awesome motor, I have bought 3 of them and have been happy. Now if you want to use this with a PDS cart in heavy mud you may want to run that by the folks at PlumQuick. They may be able to build you one similar to the Bandit but more suited to what you want..

Rim size is purely cosmetic. Tire height is what changes final drive ratio.
Stock tire height is 18" is stock and 20" is about all you can stuff under a non-lifted cart.
Going to a 20" tire will reduce the torque by about 10% while upping the speed by about 10%.

A stock PDS controller limits the motor RPM to about 4400RPM and doesn't work right unless the speed sensor from the motor is connected, so the gain, if any, will be in torque.
(Check with Plum Quick on this, I might be wrong)

An aftermarket controller that does not sense motor RPM and the proper Plum Quick built or rebuilt motor will get you in the mid-twenties on stock height tires.
