Default riding again

Took both of my carts to a friends house yesterday to do the transplant. We took all the electrics out of my big cart and put them in my street cart. Everything went great without a hitch and now the street cart is up and running with the heart and guts out of my big cart. Torque and seat of the pants take offs are still there but top end is reduced due to the reduction in rolling mass I had before with the 26 inch tires. Still runs great for a speed/torque system that I've had now for over 5 yrs. May be .looking into some 8:1 gears in the future. Included is a few "surgery" photos.
big cart almost gutted Taking out the controller and solenoid the mean green and controller installed grinding off the old bracket that held the rod type fnr switch to replace with my hd club car switch...ps, don't tell anyone I got crud car parts in my cart and finally all the batteries installed. We turned the key, hit the pedal and heard that click... put the seat on and drank a few more coldies running around his neighborhood. Glad to be riding again.

So your building a street demon now? I have the regular sized wheels on my cart so I miss out on the high speed tall wheels give. I am thinking of doing better gears for speed as well. I just don't know if it is cheaper than higher voltage with more batteries. What is your top speed so far? I can only get to about 27mph with my stock gears/12" wheels with street tires on 48 volts.

Not sure what top speed is, batteries weren't fully charged but its sure peppy....it squeeled tires in forward on pavement when I get home today I'll gps it and see what it does. Tires are 205/30-14.

This is the street screamer. cosmetics coming soon
