You have 3 connections. One says CO (common) one says NC (normally closed) and one says NO (normally open). You will use common for sure and if you are supposed to MAKE a connection with the switch you will use NO, if you want to break a connection with the switch you will use NC.....so CO and NO.
(CO) Common is alway hot....or ground depending how it's wired. |

A switch with 1 wire attached does nothing. There must allways be 2 wires (minimum) connected to any switch in any application.

Then that is a problem. Every microswitch I have ever seen has at least 2 wires....it simply will not work with 1 wire. 1 wire leads to what you are switching on/off and the second wire leads to the power source.

Unless the switch is grounded through the body of the microswitch 1 wire does nothing. I'm not sure what you have but something isn't right or just overlooked.

It is a 85 ezgo . I have an 84 that has the resistors inbetween the batteries and motor over the left side of axle mounted sidways. This 85 has the motor mounted in front of axle and the resistor on the left side above the axle. I may just wire it like the 84 and use the the other diagram.
