Trojan or cheaper Exide's. Really a big difference?
Can anyone tell me about the Exide 6 volt batt? Parts guy says they are 110's? He will sell them for 33 dollars cheaper than the T 105. Thanks. I know I have beaten this to death, appreciate your patience with a noobie.

Re: Trojan or cheaper Exide's. Really a big difference?
You are comparing Apples to Oranges.
An Exide GC-110 is a 186AH battery while the the Trojan T-105 225AH. Here is a little comparison chart I put together a while back. Please note that the Trojan T-105 (225AH) is the de facto standard for golf carts. If a long run-time isn't an important factor to you, less than 225AH might be satisfactory for your application. An Exide GC-135 would be a standard grade battery and a GC-145 would be a premium Grade. |
