Default Another PQ question

Ok new to the forum and this is another Plum quick guestion. First I got the cart as a basket case and do not know what year it is. I know it is a TXT and the parts that fit it are 2001 and up 36v. I turned it into a Father and Son project and all has been going great, we sandblasted the frame and line-X'ed it that was cool. Then installed a six inch Jakes lift kit and custom painted the body with airbrush work and candy paint. Lastly we installed six new six volt batteries, HD F&R switch, 4 gauge wire's, AXE 4845 controller, and sent the motor off to Plum Quick. Now with the fresh motor and fully charged batteries the cart tops out at 14 mph going down hill. I do know it is not a PDS motor and thought it was a series motor but I read the paper work from PQ and it says almost all motors are Sepex (Shunt)?Am I running the right controller and need to program it or do I need to run something like Alltrack DCX?

Outstanding service from PQ! Got a phone call and we talked for quite some time about the issue even when the problem was not there product. After checking a few things got the cart up to 18mph (GPS) and should get a little more after the new battery pack cycles a few times from what they said. Now I'm happy for a little while 48v upgrade when the batteries choke! Thankyou PQ.

Try adjusting your ITS or pot box, whatever you have. It may not be telling your controller to go to 100%.

And tell us what PQ and you did to fix the problem.

Feedback is what makes this forum work.

Adjusted the ITS box and charged the battery pack is really all that it took!

Inductive Throttle Sensor. There is a rod attached to the pedal that goes though this sensor that sometimes needs adjustment to tell the controller the pedal is all the way to the floor. Thats what I have learned anyway!
