EZ Go Camo Wraps
Does anyone have experience installing vinyl camo wraps like these:
Camo4U.com If so, what do you charge for an EZ Go body? |

Re: EZ Go Camo Wraps
I have wrapped several bodies but have never used one of these kits. I have a buddy who is licensed to sell the 5 mil camo vinyl in 4'x5' sheets. After I did the first one, I made some templates for the EZ-GO bodies and it went alot smoother after that. It usually took me about 5 hours to do a complete body and I charged $450 for the material and labor. I cant say that the wrap jobs were completely wrinkle free because of the curves in the EZ-GO body, but since the pattern is random they were hardly noticeable. I sold several hunting carts with the camo vinyl bodies and everyone seemed to be pleased. Since then, I have started buying camo dipped bodies. It costs a little more to get a dipped camo body, but it's ALOT less labor intensive and more durable. I would check out some of the dipped bodies.

Re: EZ Go Camo Wraps
I wrapped my cart with Camoclad and it wasn't too hard. It takes a little time and a heat gun is your friend.

Re: EZ Go Camo Wraps
I just wrapped mine this past weekend in Mossy Oak Duck Blind from Mossy Oak Graphics. Yes the heat gun and a extra set of hands are your friend!

Re: EZ Go Camo Wraps
Nice pics... I was actually leaning towards one of their "EZ Fit Kits" that is already precut and exact fit....

Re: EZ Go Camo Wraps
I just did a kit from mossyoakgraphics.com It looks sweet but it was a pain in the but! It took me several hours over a couple days. I quess it depends on how picky you want to be. I dont know that the pre cut kits would be any easier really...

Re: EZ Go Camo Wraps
pre-cut = little to no room for error. I was leaning towards a wrap also, until i found a hrdro dipper not too far from me. If you try it, post pics

Re: EZ Go Camo Wraps
There is a guy here in the DFW area that will sell you a film dipped body for $325 with your body in exchange.

Re: EZ Go Camo Wraps
This is the way to go - Good find! Wish I could of had that option here in central FL! The wrap was a pain and I was picky, didn't want any wrinkles or relief cuts. Looks great, but just isn't as easy as the seasoned vets in the videos make it out to be. Set aside an entire day and be patient until YOUR happy with it. You'll do fine. When your all done put some 3M vinyl edge sealer about all the edges. It will last you many years.

Re: EZ Go Camo Wraps
I was actually thinking about camo dipping some of the console with these DIY camo dip kits ( CamoDipKit.com ). Not sure how hard that is though...
