Electric Golf Cart Security
We will taking a trip to Disney's Fort Wilderness in November which will be our first camping trip with our golf cart. It seems that the cart will be a major part of our daily transportation at such a large campground. I was wondering how people handle theft prevention of their cart.
I am thinking a 3/8" security cable through maybe the front wheels of the cart and wrapped around the truck hitch or camper frame would work to secure it at our campsite, but what about parking it for the day at the ferryboat dock or the bus stop at the lodge? |

Hide one of your I phones on it, and if it gets stolen track it down

Re: Electric Golf Cart Security
Looks secure - but scares me thinking about all that metal suspended above the battery terminals?

Besides a cable lock I use a remote activated battery switch - latching relay.
A marine part by Blue Seas. Basically a heavy duty battery switch that can be switched manually or remotely (needs 12 volts only when switching). iPhone using Tapatalk |

http://www.buggiesgonewild.com/gas-e...tml#post523501 http://www.buggiesgonewild.com/elect...you-think.html A unique key switch and/or a hidden kill switch will stop a casual joy rider. Seat security is important to protect batteries and wires from theft and to keep the seat from flying off during trailering. Unfortunately, if somebody really wants it, they're going to get it. |
