Default 98 txt series controller wiring..

ok since I relocated my key next to the F/R lever, I was stuck with some mystery wires, mainly a red wire that was going to the pedal switch.
I followed this diagram, and found a jumper wire that was run in place of the green wire. I examined the 4 wire connector that goes to the pedal box, and noticed the green wire was not seated all the way in. I fixed that and disconnected the jumper wire. now I finally am able to disconect the green blue key wires to run my new key.
here is my problem the diagram here shows the controller wires
1. white 2. black, 3. orange, 4. red..
my controller is wired
1. red 2. black 3. white 4 orange

it runs fine, I think.

ok so further investigation, reveals that this may be an "upgraded" cart, the motor says hi-speed, so I am guessing this was an optional controller, hence, why it is different from the diagram. This explains a lot. It does run out of steam quickly with 3 people. Even with the skinny wheels on it. I dont think it makes sense to remove it to get the info from the bottom plate, until I get some new wires to put back on.

The controller & it's mount in your cart is from an earlier model Marathon cart. You are wired up just fine for what you got.
