Drilled two 1/8" holes in battery while installing kick plate , HELP!
I accidentally drilled two tiny 1/8 holes in interstate 6v battery while installing kick plate on my cart, these are less than six month old batterys, please help tell me how to fix the case i know someone has done it. Also what to put back in that cell as far as water or what. Thanks hurry

Ouch....maybe some jb weld and electrolyte with distilled water? Not sure how much, somebody will chime in. Oh yeah, shorter screws too. (Sorry, couldn't resist)

i was using rivets but my drill bit went too far while drilling the holes

You are not the first one to do this... I'm not sure of the product but there is a 2 part epoxy that will work for battery cases. Somebody will chime in with the product info... meanwhile I would be working the heck out of google.

fluid is gone leaked on ground before i knew it , i think people use jb weld waterweld according to google. i just dont know what to put back in it.

If you have lost all the electrolyte, you can get a premixed solution of sulfuric acid at any auto parts store. I have no clue as what to use on the holes to seal them. Someone else may have a solution to that!

that JB waterweld is what i have seen others use and it worked good,, and if the acid leaked out, then you need to put acid back in, like some one said the auto store has it
