Default Another speed magnet ?

Ok, Iv read a couple threads on these speed magnets and it sounds like a bang for the buck. Problem is Iv noticed it only works on some carts on some models and is worthless with some speed codes(another have no idea what that is). How can I find out if it will work on mine. Can I go by my serial number?

If you plug your serial no. on this page: http://www.shopezgo.com/common/templ...ialnumber.aspx
it indicates a 1999 TXT standard. This means a series wound motor and appropriate controller. If you are referring to magnets used to fool the speed sensor on some sepex type carts (club car mostly I believe), this doesn't apply to your cart. EZGO PDS carts use a plug (jumper) in the speed control to set various speed controls. This doesn't apply to your cart either.

Yep! Still cheaper than drag racing or boats!

Some good packages and knowledgable people here: http://www.cartsunlimited.net/Custom_Options.html

High performance motors here: http://www.plumquick.com/

There are others also.

Maybe you should start a new thread stating what you have and what you would like the cart to do. Lots of people have gone this route before.
