Default Too much dielectric grease on the FNR switch assembly?

Is it possible to have too much grease on the F/R switch assembly? if so, would this make it lunge sometimes when pedal is first depressed? Thanks.

I don't think that would be the cause. Have you checked to see if the contacts are lining up correctly?

You could immerse the entire F/R assembly in a 5 gallon bucket of dielectric grease and it would work fine. The issue is not the grease.
