How to charge batteries
I searched the forum, didn't find my answer. Do you leave the charger plugged in all the time or just when re-charging after use?

Re: How to charge batteries
I leave mine plugged in all the time . That way the batteries are always at full capacity from float mode .

Re: How to charge batteries
Wow, if the title of this thread isn't an open ended question.
I leave mine plugged in all the time and once a week I reset the charger, just for the sake of twiddeling |

Re: How to charge batteries
I guess more info would be nice!!! Charger is an EZGo powerwise QE, cart is a 2011 ST Sport 2+2 48 volt.
Wife found the manual, says if left plugged in, it will auto re-charge when voltage falls to 2 volts per cell. Also, every 30 days it auto charges to maintain battery pack. Looks like I have answered my question. Thanks for the replies!!! |
