94 marathon fnr switch hot, smoking
94 marathon 36v converted to 48, 48 v solenoid, 400 amp controller, 4 gauge wire, stock motor. Stock fnr switch. Cart has 25 inch tires. Running on Halloween with 4 adults and 3 kids carts fnr switch got very hot on some big hills to the point it was smoking a lil in the cold. I have cleaned it and all connections are clean and tight prior to today. Is it time for a heavy duty.

what exactly is going to happen, will the fnr switch burn up, or am i looking at controller, motor damage due to the switch not carrying the load right.
