Default weak leaf springs

I have a 2007 pds that seems to be sitting a little low in the rear. When I measured the rocker panel from the ground up, it is about an inch lower in the rear than the front. It has 6-6volt t-105 Trogens and a deep-cycle 12 volt for the lights, no rear seat or any other accessories. Do I need new springs? or is this normal? I would like to see it a little higher in the rear, any ideas?
Thanks in advance

It sounds as though your springs need to be replaced or re-arched.

If you replace the rear springs I would recommend going ahead and installing the three leaf springs and new spring eye bushings. That way if you ever do add a back seat or basket you will already have them installed. You wont really notice much difference in ride unless you go with the 3 leaf HD springs. The leaves on the HD springs are between 5/16 and 3/8" thick compared to 1/4" thick on the standard 3 leaf. You can also get a 4 leaf which would ride about like the 3 leaf HD.
