What rivets? Please help.
Hey guys, I have a rebuild on my '99 txt that has been at a standstill for the past 6 months. It is sitting in my parents garage and now they are telling me to get it put back together and sell it, or its going out for the trash. It is a frame off rebuild so my main question is, what rivets do i need that is not included in a body rivet kit? (floor pan, firewall, dash, etc. It all came off.) Thanks in advance.

Re: What rivets? Please help.
I have used any plastic rivets (ones long enough) had no problems.
I know this may to be the correct way,but that's all I had to work with at the time. Stumpy |

Lowes or Ace-Hardware should have Rivets or the plastic push-pin rivets. Also try Fastenal,or similar.Just measure the holes with a drill-bit,measure the thickness of the material, and select the head-size that you need.Hope this helps.

The floor pans should be reattached with steel rivets. 5/32 x 5/8 was the stock size.

You might consider putting an ad in the classified section selling it " as is ". Might save you a lot of work! A lot of folks would love a winter project!
