Front Brakes, 92 marathon?
Wondering if front brakes were available for a 1992 marathon?

Re: Front Brakes, 92 marathon?
ScottyB sells a kit to install them. There is some modification involved but it'll stop your cart quick.

Re: Front Brakes, 92 marathon?
When I spoke to Scotty I was told the front hubs needed modification to become disks. If I'm wrong please excuse my ignorance.
The rear brakes are bolt on I believe. |

Re: Front Brakes, 92 marathon?
It would be nice if there is a way to get brakes for the front. I hunt some very hilly areas. No problem climbing but coming down is a different story.

Re: Front Brakes, 92 marathon?
The brakes I sell only fit the TXT model Ezgo. The differential and the axles are not the same as a Marathon. Could you modify them to fit? Anything is possible, but I have never seen it done.
Gonk, you first! |

Re: Front Brakes, 92 marathon?
Scotty,Are the backing-plate flanges the same bolt-pattern on the TXT and Marathon?I swapped a G2-Yami axle into my Marathon, all the brake-stuff bolted on.I used the Marathon backing-plates,shoes,and cables with the Yamaha-Drums.Maybe this will cross somehow, allowing Yami-Brakes to work if the TXTs' don't swap?
