Default What's my cart worth?

Well, my buggy overhaul has sadly came to a premature end. I just don't have the time anymore between school and working. So I am being forced by the home owners (my parents) to get it out of their garage.

My question is, what should i ask for it?

It is a '99 ezgo txt non pds that is 50% assembled. Body is off, floor pan and firewall are on, just not riveted. The frame was comepletely tore down, wire wheeled and sealed with POR 15. Cart runs, but the interstate batteries are rather old and not sure how much life is left in them. Good working charger also.

bummer guy.

Problem you have is that what you have is really only going to be of interest to a fellow buggy person. The normal laymen would not have the first clue in reassembling what you have. Is all the wiring out also or just the body and a few panels ? IE, will it move on its own and I assume a series cart..

It's all wired up and able to be driven as it sits. Just needs every piece of plastic and floor pans reinstalled. Also, yes it is a series.
There is already interest in it from a man who wants to put it back together and make it his hunting cart. I just don't know what kind of number to throw at him.

Look through your local Craigslist to get some ideas.. Numbers there will be different from here. Here with the charger as is it would probably be in the 350-500 range.. Yes I know that is low but this area is flooded with carts as the EZ-Go and Club Car plants are 20 miles away..

Around here NTX area that would bring in the ball park of $650-$850 if the batteries are decent and came with a good charger.
