new alltrax installation
I'm installing a new alltrax dcx 400 to replace my blown curtis 733328G07. I'm also replacing the solenoid with a HD 200 amp solenoid,my question so far is that the old solenoid had a resistor on it but was only attached on one side of the solenoid making it useless. Why wasn't it hooked up and can I be sure I should hook it up with the new solenoid. As you can tell I'm very leery about doing this right. The numbers on the resistor in question are (dale cw-5 250 ohm 5% 6.5w MO 411)

Re: new alltrax installation
Sometimes the resistor is removed for testing. You need the new one installed, same with the diode.

Re: new alltrax installation
If it was a PDS, it might not have had a diode, but should have one installed.
