Default Brown wire from mirco switch where does it go

89 36v ezgo Behind the F/R switch (toward front) I have a red wire outboard side (connected)and a brown wire coming from the inboard side of the micro switch which looks like it had a 5/16 terminal that has corroded away. What terminal does it connect to and what does it do?

With your voltmeter determine what side of the microswitch this is. Voltage in or voltage out. If voltage in it goes to the ignition switch. If voltage out it goes to actuate the solenoid Although, the large connector seems to indicate a battery type connection? What does the voltmeter say? Also, how long is it? what does it reach?
