My ez go wont stop when the f and r switch is moved to foward or reverse. It runs good but when you let off it just keeps going. I have replaced the resistor coil because it was bad. I have tried to find a good set of wiring diagrams. please help....

Either the throttle pedal is sticking or your solenoid is sticking ON. Most of the time when something like this happens its the pedal. Pull up on the pedal and see if it still does it. Also, raise the seat and make sure there is nothing blocking your pedal from coming all the way back.....twigs and all kinds of stuff can get in there and cause it.
You mentioned wiring....it won't be the wiring unless you just rewired it and got it hooked up wrong...if thats the case disregard my previous reply, find a diagram and get it wired right. |

I suspected the solonoid. That was going to be the next thing I changed but I just wanted to get some advice before I just went to changing parts. This cart is an 87 model and was just given to me, so Im not real sure about who could have messed with wiring before...thanks
