Default EZGo TXT Battery Problem????

I have an unknown EZGO TXT with a new Alltrax DCS 400. The motor was just replaced and so was the solenoid. It has been running fine but today as soon as I put the forward/reverse switch to either position my battery gauge dives to nothing. Last night my powerwise charger completely charged the batteries (or at least until it shut off). The controller only powers on long enough to give one green blink. I am guessing that I may have one bad battery but I am unsure if anyone has any other suggestions. Any advice is much appreciated. Thanks

Checking the batteries is a good place to start. If you don't have a multi meter it is probably time to get one. They are as cheap as $5 at Harbor Freight. First, check the total battery pack voltage. Then check each individual battery voltage. A 36v TXT should charge up to about 42 volts at termination of the charge and settle to about 38.2v after resting a few hours. Also make sure all of your cable terminals are clean and tight.

Digital Volt Meter $4.99 http://www.harborfreight.com/7-funct...ter-98025.html

You'll need a Digital Voltmeter, the analog style does define the voltage close enough the be meaningful, but it doesn't have to be an expensive DVM.

About 12 hours after the charger shuts off automatically, a 36V battery pack ought to read about 38.2V
Each battery should read 6.37V and they should all be withing 0.1V of each other.

---------------
Measure the voltage between the main negative battery pack terminal and the controller side big terminal on the solenoid.
What does it drop to when the pedal is opushed and the LED on the controller blinks once?
