I have that same lift kit. No problems with it.

Re: lift combo
doesn't look too bad from the pics. the wheels/tires are almost worth the asking price.

Re: lift combo
You don't need a 6" lift for 22" tires IMO.

Re: lift combo
I bought that lift about 2weeks ago for my 96 txt. Incredibly fast shipping and a very easy installation. I can't yet speak to how well it will hold up, but the weight of the metal seems to be on par with my old stock ezgo axel. One thing though... My buddy has a different drop axel. His yields a little more width and forward angle...if that is important to you. I think it will be fine. It's not like I'm catching air with my series cart.

Re: lift combo
Ok... here goes.
Here she is the day I got her home, with a mangled front axel and 3 super flat leaf springs and 1 bent into an "s" shape. getting started front going on with new leaf springs and shocks too. no pics of the rear lift install, but I did add two new HD leafs as well. So between flipping the springs on top of the axel, adding the rear spacer lift and installing the HD rear springs I got almost 8" of lift in the rear. I'm not making any adjustments until I get the new wheels and tires on though. I'll probably need to lift the front 1-2" to even things out. Here is where it sits with stock rims. Here is a shot of the finished front. NOTE: the rear passenger side is on the jack and I was a little drunk by this time. The cart sits very even side to side now. I'll post some more picnext week when my new wheels tires get here. I'm gong with 12x7 ITP ss108 rims with 2+5 offset and AMS Blackwidow tires in 25x8x12 front and 25x10x12 rear sizes. should look good! I'll only need 2 more batteries and a motor upgrade and I'm done with it mechanically. Here is the wheel tire combo that I'm waiting on to be shipped. |
