Default 1990 EZGO Shuttle, PCX-954

Well, this cart was acquired as part of a business deal in 2009, so I don't know any history on it. What I do know is that it's a workhorse around the ranch and is an excellent "go fix it" vehicle

Just the other day, I got some new seats:

Next on the docket is a thorough going-through of the lighting system, and after that I'm gonna try to tackle the brakes.

Those are great old carts. I love those seats!
I got one (1995 model) in a trade about 2 yrs ago. I loaned to a friend of mine who modified it... I boosted it to 48 volts I will try to find some before and after pics. of it. It is interesting to see what he did.
I have a 952 (2003 model) here at the ranch. I put 48v in it also and 700a control with 10hp motor. It will pull anything if it can get traction which requires some weight in the bed. It is a 2 seater with a 7 foot flatbed.

Too bad you are so far away, I have the original FG roof for that thing... You see we both built up supports for a standard GC roof.
Oh, wait. I didn't show mine, here it is
I had another one and it had a rag top. Consisted of tube or pipe with bows over top and canvas sewed on... fringe all around. Good for the beach

Those are really neat looking rigs. Every time I see one of those, I think about the scene in Austin Powers:

I know Elizabeth Hurley is distracting, but watch until the end. Haha!

Alright! First LED headlight proto ready for testing and I built a low-boy rack 'cause I'm tired of having stuff bounce off the back :D

Dark test on the LED was promising. First shot is stock headlights (both of them, 'cause I'm a knucklehead), second is my LED light. I'm thinking double the LEDs and some reflector work and it'll be close to equivalent.

You just can't ranch without a golf cart.
