New EZGO Series TXT Project
Found this on Craigslist today and the guy was asking $400, I offered him $300 and he accepted. It currently does not run, but batteries are VERY weak and I am currently charging them 1 by 1 trying to get them up. The reverse buzzer does come on and I get a solenoid click when pedal is pressed. It is my second cart project. I just wish I would not have sold off all the old parts off my first cart! Well just thought I would share.... Here it is.... Decent Deal?

I would think "Decent Deal" is an understatement. Just hope he doesn't go to the cops.

Decent deal?? I'd say! If all it needs are batteries then you did well.

Re: New EZGO Series TXT Project
No it did not come with a charger, but the charger I have for my 48v cart charges 6/12/24/36/48v so I'm good for now. The batteries look pretty old, they are Trojan T105's and have H5 stamped on them. Would that be August 1995 or 2005?

Re: New EZGO Series TXT Project
You can pick up a used charger if you look around and those batts are 2005. What year is the cart ? If it doesn't have the plate in the pass side glove box look under the seat on the frame rail above the batteries..
Yes, you stole it... Good work.. |

Re: New EZGO Series TXT Project
The plate in the glove box is gone, and the sticker on the frame rail above the batteries is too faded to read, is there a serial # stamped somewhere and I can look it up online?

Re: New EZGO Series TXT Project
I found it, under the charger outlet. It is a 2004 TXT. A lot newer than I thought

An '04, lights, rear seat, good tires, no charger?
I would be suspect. The cart was worth twelve hundred easy and why is there no charger? You gotta know what I'm thinkin', somebody is missing a golf cart? |

I would be suspect. The cart was worth a thousand easy and why is there no charger? You gotta know what I'm thinkin' I could be wrong. But I've seen this before where I wasn't. |
