ezgo motors
I have a ezgo DCS cart that the motor went out on
I have a motor out of another cart it came out of a 98 ezgo with a black box that looks like my dcs box I now for sure it is not a PDS cart I want to say it is a serial motor but unsure okay know for my question will it work in my DCS cart or do I need to get a new DCS motor |

Re: ezgo motors
No, a "Series" motor will not work. Get a new DCS motor or convert everything over to series.

Re: ezgo motors
You say the black box is the same as your DCS AND you say the cart is a series? This doesn't make sense! If the other cart with the donor motor is a 1998, then it would be either a Series or DCS. EZGO didn't have a PDS until 2000. If the cart (donor motor) does not have a toggle on the controller cover, then it would be a series cart and as Roady says - will NOT work...

Re: ezgo motors
You can have your current motor rebuilt and save some dollars over a new motor.

Re: ezgo motors
Can someone tell me if a PDS motor will work in a DCS cart? Vice/versa?
Thanks |
