Heating / Melting Cables
Found out that I had a loose cable to one of the batteries that are under the rear seat in the bag well. Terminal was HOT - melted the coating off of the cable...
Is there a liklihood that I runied the battery as well? |

Re: Heating / Melting Cables
battery should be fine, replace cable and if it didn,t melt the battery terminal install and make sure its clean and tight along with the rest of them, if you have wing nuts take them off throw them away and get regular hex head nuts for them..........................................

Re: Heating / Melting Cables
Thanks - the terminal has some melted solder on it from the cable - it's spot on with voltage compared to the rest of the batteries.
