81 EZ GO Electric Motor Options
I have a 81 Electric 3 Wheel and I'm interested in upgrading the old wore out original motor. I was wanting to take a pole to see what my options are as far as compatibility. Also, I was thinking about upgrading to a 48 volt system and was wondering if there was anything that I am going to need to change out besides the Controler and possibly the solenoid? Thanks in advance.

Re: 81 EZ GO Electric Motor Options
I'm not up to speed on what motors will fit in older cart, but Plum Quick might be able to breath new live into the old one if it still runs.
Don't forget the high current cables and F/R switch have to pass the same current as the controller and solenoid. |

Re: 81 EZ GO Electric Motor Options
It does still run and its decent but I'm just exploring my options. I'm going to start with replacing all the batteries first (ouch)
