Depends on the coarse....probly not any aggressive treads but maybe DOT spec tires.

I'm sure they would frown on some of our carts!

aside from possibly an insurance reason , if you have turf tires they should allow it but every course is probably different in that respect.

Re: Do golf coarses allow these carts?
I was in the process of mounting ATV turf tires on my golf cart and one of the other customers told me that he had mounted lawn tractor tires on his and they banned him from the golf course here. He pointed out to them that the lawn mower that was visible on the fairway, had the same exact tires and they still refused him access. I don't care because I threw my back out at the driving range and don't plan on playing any golf in the near future anyway. If I do decide to play, then I can hitch a ride with my brother on his Yami. I took off the bag straps and plan on putting a rear basket/seat combo. We use our cart for golf cart trail and street anyway, to get around in the village and for shopping. With the price of gas being so high, the electric cart saves us a bundle of cash.

Re: Do golf coarses allow these carts?
On the flip side of the coin, I stayed with stock height turf tires because my docile looking electric cart with turf friendly tires is not considered a "motor vehicle" by the powers that be at local parks, which don't allow motor vehicles anywhere except the roads and parking lots.

Re: Do golf coarses allow these carts?
My course told me the height or tread is irrelevant, it is the tire width that is of concern. They said the wider the better and no turning the tires.
