Default Directional Signal upgrade

I have a 08 ST Sport project cart, I am trying to get it street legal in FL. The current lighting does not have directional signals so I need to add them. I was looking at the wiring harness and reading the online manual and it referred to directional signals. Next to the headlight wire lead there is an unused wire on both sides of the cart near the headlights. I don’t have a full wiring chart and can’t seem to find one online. But it appears that the additional harness not being use could possibly be for Directional Signals, its a factory harness.

Do any of you know if it is part of the original harness? If so I just need to add a switch and some lights, HOPING someone knows.

I have no idea what your harness looks like. I can tell you I used a roll of trailer light ribbon wire to do my cart. If you buy one of the clamp on indicator switches, it is a fairly straightforward modification. One common ground and three hots.

Yep I have that just as you pictured it, now what do I do? Where can I get the parts to make it work? All I see is sets of full lights the only thing I don’t have is the front blinkers, mine are reflectors and the lever box. Thanks for your help on this.

Shop it out - don't base on this shown price, but you want this:

Post a pic of your front and rear - if you have the harness, you should have true blinkers on the cart. Should be as easy as plug and play

I have that exact harness pictured in front, my front cowl is gone so I can’t take a pic. I have the headlights and the rear has tail and brake that are working I just need the directional switch and the harness from that to that block you showed and I think I will be good to go, I didn’t realize the with was so $$$$$$

Yea - don't let that price scare you. You have to shop around, here's one at 1/3 the price:
