Ez Go Lift and torque problem
Newbie here!! I have a 2005 Ezgo pds.Just installed a 6 inch lift,22 inch Sahara tires on 12 inch wheels and a back seat.New batteries about six months ago.Great on flat ground but will not climb a hill.I know I need to change the controller, battery cables and solenoid but my question is which controller, cables and solenoid do I need? Also will the stock motor be fine?
Thanks for the help!!! |

Re: Ez Go Lift and torque problem
Welcome to BGW!
I went with a Alltrax DCX400(PDS) controller, 400A solenoid and 2Ga cables. (But a 200A solenoid and 4Ga cables will suffice for most applications) Plus I'm adding a seventh 6V battery in front of driver side wheel well. Here the controller/solenoid kit I got. It is kit #808B (The B is for the super-duty solenoid) http://www.cartsunlimited.net/Custom_Options.html |
