Default Jerky Acceleration

After finding my newly bought EZGO TXT to not be running, I recently replaced the ITS, micro switch, resistor, and speed controller. The cart only started to move after the speed controller was replaced--originally 300a to a non-programmable 350amp controller. The cart drove just fine all the way to the course where I dropped it off (about 12 mins of driving). I set it on the charger for the week. The following weekend I went down to test it out on the course. Batteries read full charge on the state-of-charge indicator. I drove around, but the acceleration was a bit jerky and had troubles speeding up or driving at medium speeds. Driving back to the clubhouse after 5 holes, the cart died. Batteries indicated no charge. Cart still lurchy before exhausted batteries. I have lights and speakers installed, but may have been used less than 60 seconds--I don't think they could have drawn all the power.

Cart is now on the charger, hopefully was able to charge all the way. Will check it out tomorrow. Perhaps individually charge 12v at a time until the charger clicks on.

what could be the cause of the jerky acceleration?

Thanks!

Bought it from local golf course, so the batteries are maintained every month, not sure the year of them.

Cart is a 2000 EZGO TXT. 36V series system, F/R on rear body by drivers leg

are they Trojan batteries?, if so it will tell you the year on the lead post,, it will have a letter and a number,, like E 3 which be, may 2013, it would help to know the year,, and need the pack volts, and each battery,, this should be taken after the charger has fully charged the batteries and they have been off the charger for 12 hours at rest

yes load test if you can,, it sounds like you might have a bad battery or 2, it only takes 1 to make it do what your talking about,, it could be the new ITS you changed, when is the last time you checked the water in the batteries, you know just because the cart was on the charger all week, it only charger once, so it sat all week with no charge before you used it,, take some batteries pack readings before you move the cart when you get to it, 38.2 is 100% charged

If you recently replaced ITS you may have it out of adjustment look at the stickies on site under ITS adjustment

Cheers!

Might be something simple... like a lose connection... check all os them.. even ones to the motor.. My cart has done the same thing to me. I checked all of the batts, they were fine. checked the wires to the motor and whala.. burned cable... it happens.. I was happy to find out that is all it was... My dad ALWAYS told me, check the simple stuff first...
