Default 96 TXT Steering question

I was looking at the service manual and seen the area in red in this picture and am wondering what does that bolt mount to? That bolt is not on my cart and there is a gap between the steering housing and the floor board so I am trying to figure out the purpose of this bolt.

It seems like "something" should be there because the 3 bolts holding the steering column to the steering housing is just not enough. Anyone have this bolt that can show a pic of how it goes through the floor board to the steering housing it would be much appreciated.

I think that bolt goes through the frame member but not through the floor so it is tough to see. You may be able to put your hands up there and see if it is missing.

There is a hole in the floor board but not in the floor covering. There are 3 bolts that go through the frame member, 2 of which bolt into the steering housing and the other goes through the frame member and the steering housing and secures with a nut on the other end.

Then there is this bolt shown in the service manual making it 4 bolts total. This was brought to my attention because the steering column has a little play (bearing at the top under steering wheel) and I started looking at the steering rack when I had it out and seen this fourth hole. I did not see anything in the accessory section that would bolt here.

Tony, Is the hole in the floor board of the cart on the left or right side? If it is on the high left side as you are sitting in the cart, That could be a hole for a horn if you wanted to install one. other than that I am not sure.

The hole in the floor board is towards the center of the cart approximately 2-3" from the steering column. The horn hole is way up in the upper left corner of the floor as you sit in the cart
