need help wont charge
My cart is about 2 years old. Yesteday the volt meter was flashing on the last 2 bars, even after I tried to charge it several times. sometime the charger would click off and some times it would seem to be charging but the meter never came up. so I cleaned, watered, and load test all the batteries. I also cleaned the connections and tightend all the nuts.
to my supprise the meter went up to full charge so I rode it around and it was faster than ever. so I parked it after running the battery a little more than half way down. I plugged it in and this morning it is not charged the meter is in the same spot. Please Help |

Re: need help wont charge
it could either be that the charger is faulty or check the wires coming from charger input to the batteries, it is important to check the full wiring harness leading to the batteries. The wires could be broken at any point. If it ran faster it makes think it was overcharged and the problem lies within the charger itself.

Re: need help wont charge
try to hook the charger to the cart and connect a multi meter to the batteries that make up 48 volts and read what it says. unplug the charger and read the multi meter and see the differance if none the charger is not putting out. take the cover off and check the fuse for continuity and the diodes .
hope this helps |

Re: need help wont charge
The voltage meter wouldn't make it run faster than ever before.
