Default ? for anyone re: wiring diagram

I have a 2002 pds. I haven't been able to get mine to run even after replacing the controller and solenoid. I was going over the wiring diagrams from the resource section of buggies unlimited and also the service manual I downloaded form buggiesgonewild. In the service manual on page F-24 figure 23 controller wiring it shows some cable coming from the power harness to the B- terminal of the controller. On the figure 24 below it shows a cable coming from the power harness to the left side of the terminal. There are only 4 cables coming from the power harness( which is from the motor), F1 and F2 which clearly go from the motor to the top side of the controller, A1 which comes from A1 terminal of the motor to the A1 terminal on the controller. That leaves A2 which according to the service manual either goes to the B- terminal of the controller(fig 23) or to the left side of the solenoid(fig24). These to figures seem to contradict themselves. On the wiring diagram I downloaded from BU ( which I think also comes from an EZGO owners manual) it shows A2 going to the left side of the solenoid. I would be grateful if someone could help me figure out which is the correct way that A2 should be wired. I hope this post isn't too confusing. Thanks for all the answers guys, Tim

This is the second time I have seen something like this in the manuals. Do not pay any attention to that, just follow the wiring diagram for a PDS and you will be fine.

So you're saying A2 goes to left side of the solenoid? Thanks for replying

I'm saying follow the diagram on page F-9 and it will be fine. Don't pay any attention to the direction of the picures versus what the schematic shows.

I see what your saying though. It is kinda confusing, so yes, place it on the left side.

i have been told that A2 should be on the right, opposite to the batteries. there is a cable running from your batteries that should be connected to the left side of the solenoid and A2 connects on the right side of the solenoid. srry if this makes things more confusing.

It also depends on how your looking at it....if your sitting in the cart. That will put it on the right farthest away from the batteries.....looking at it from the front it will be on the left. Theres no reason to read into it too much and make it more difficult than it actually is.

When I'm saying left side I mean when you are facing the solenoid as it is mounted on the controller. I really appreciate all the replies, I'm still kind of confused though
