For my scottybs meter now what
I haven't worked on this cart and need to see how to get to the back of the key or how to install this plate and wire the cart. I would also like to add a radio

I think the instructions sent with each meter about cover it.

Re: For my scottybs meter now what
No need to pull the "hood" off. Just fish the wires thru

Re: For my scottybs meter now what
what year cart is it ???
All the TXT models (1994 & up) have a removable key switch plate which is why I offer the replacement plate with the meter cut out... The meter is a simple 2 wire hook up. The + connection can be made at the key switch. Then run the other wire to the battery pack main - . When it is connected this way it comes on/off with the key. With the switch plate removed it is easy to fish a wire through the dash and down under the cart to the battery compartment. Follow the wire loom along the passenger side of the cart. Wrap your new wire around the loom and gently zip tie it to the loom and frame so it will not droop and snag on something. There is a hole to come up into the battery bay under the passenger seat close to the battery pack mains. The main - terminal is shown in the pic below (FIG.D). |

Re: For my scottybs meter now what
So I installed it today. Is it suppose to drop as I'm driving? When do I know when to charge if it showed 36.2 standing still?

Re: For my scottybs meter now what
it will drop when driving around. 36.2 is 50% state of charge. If it shows that after riding it may climb up some while at rest but they need charging then... charge as often as you can. It wont hurt the batteries..
