97 txt, check the brakes, grease the hubs?
Hello, do the front and rear hubs need greasing? I pulled the dust caps off one side and it looks brand new underneath, did not see any place to pack grease. Also, I assume the brakes are original, I adjusted the nut under the drivers floor last year and it helped, could prob adjust some more, any easy way to check the brake shoes? do these get replaced often, Thanks Much!!

Re: 97 txt, check the brakes, grease the hubs?
The shoes go 4-5 years under normal use. I have seen them ate up in 2 and go as long as 10. Depends upon your loads, terrain, and driving habits. A 97 TXT has auto shoe adjusters, check they are working properly. Front bearings are manually greased the old fashion way. It is good to check them, add a little while you are in there.
