Which Trojan's?
I only use my cart in the yard, woods and fields only. It has 23x10.5x12's. So it you were putting new Batt's in what ones would you go with? Are the larger T's worth it?????

Re: Which Trojan's?
I've always heard to buy the biggest batteries you can afford, but how far do you normally travel before you recharge?

I sell lots of the t-605s with the same application and they work great.Bad Boy is 48 volt with 8 batts 4x4 and a winch plus they are real heavy Chinese steel.

Re: Which Trojan's?
Even if you don't drive enough to justify bigger Amp-Hr batts, by keeping them at a higher State of Charge (SOC), you'll get more miles/years out of them.

Re: Which Trojan's?
- They were the original 03's
- I normally go within 5-6 miles of my home. My Wife, two daughters, and myself. - I want to start using it for Hunting more next fall. - The difference between 105''s and 145's is $339.51 so it seems worth it? |

Re: Which Trojan's?
There is a lot of battery misinformation out there. Most people would like to spend less when replacing their batteries. Most people are unaware they get less when they pay less. Less expensive batteries have lower amp hour ratings. They have less storage capacity. In most cases this means they will be drawn down to a lower % of charge (SOC) during use. Over time this deeper discharge will shorten the life of the batteries.
T605 look like any Trojan 6v battery. But you will not find any manufacture using a T605 or equivalent, they are not OEM replacement and do not perform as well in my experience. They do okay in trailer park carts, that are used for short distance on flat ground and recharged often. I have 8 T145 in my big electric Ezgo. They work well. But T105 or T125 is all most people need. |

Re: Which Trojan's?
An easy way to say this is more weight, more money! More weight will go further and last longer! I would get the most " weight " you can afford!
