weight
Im getting ready for the camping season and need to put the golf cart in the bed of the truck. Anyone have an idea of what a standard 99 ez-go weighs? I do have some bigger wheels and a slight lift kit. 6-800 pounds?

Re: weight
I think the cart alone is like 550. The batteries are the real weight adder. See what kind of batterires you have & look at the Mfg's site to see what each Bat weighs.

Re: weight
I would think 1100 to 1200 would be closer.

Re: weight
You didn't mention which 1999 EZGO, so here are the the more common ones from that year.
Trojan T-105 batteries weigh 62 pounds each. Then add the roof (if any), weight differential of the the bigger tires, rear seat (if any) and and accessories. Half ton, easy. Could be more. |

Re: weight
Just figure 800-1000 pounds for your average electric cart with 6 batteries. Any pickup truck should handle it. Make sure your ramp system is rated for that much weight plus the driver too.

Re: weight
Here's my 95 on a weight scale - I'm metal bodied so adjust about 100 pounds or so. 1000lbs. I'd guess

Re: weight
Man, their weight capacity doesn't leave very much room does it after 3-400 pounds for batteries. The ramps I'm looking at are 1500 pound capacity.
